A bit about myself...
I am an award winning Fine Art family photographer, based in Bristol and specialising in newborn, maternity, family and wedding photography. I also offer portrait shoots for individuals, companies and groups! I am a member of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers. I have won three highly commended awards this year (2019) with The Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographs and The National Photographic Society.
My style of photography is unique in that I connect with adults and children in a relaxed and friendly way to help keep the sessions stress-free, while using props and intense lighting to create dramatic looking images. This enables me to create bespoke images that can be heirlooms for years to come, while still showing their personalities and creating genuine expressions.
Aside from photography, my main passions in life are painting, music and sewing. I am wife to an amazingly loving (and patient!) husband and mother to two incredible children.
My family are at the heart of everything I do and this brings me onto another part of my photography. I volunteer my time and skills one day at St Michaels and Southmead NICUs to photograph the babies on the unit, completely for free. This is after having my little girl at 33+6 weeks and finding it very hard having her stay in the NICU and then hospital during her first three weeks. I hope to give back a sense of normalcy and something to look forward to (and back on) for the parents of the babies currently in the units. You can find out more here: N.i.c.u Sessions.
