A bit about myself...
At just 26 years old, I run a photography studio in the stunning Clifton Village, of Bristol. While I am working towards my ASWPP, I currently hold a licentiate in Portrait Photography with the SWPP. I specialise in fine art painterly portraiture and create artwork for families, children, newborn, maternity and more.
I am a proud ambassador of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers. I have won over 30 awards including three silver awards from WPPI and a silver award from The Portrait Masters. I have also had my work published in Digital Camera magazine and a wide variety of child fashion and boutique magazines. You can find more about my accomplishments here: Accomplishments.
My personality as a photographer is unique in that I empower and include both adults and children to work with me and help create images that really capture the essence of each individual and dynamic of families at their heart. While creating each look, I really connect with and inspire the models. I use fabrics and a massive variety of seemingly random objects to create incredibly creative and impactful images. I have a very bubbly personality and even with the more sombre toned portraits, I always have a lot of fun creating - and have heard the same from my models!
Aside from photography, my main passions in life are painting, music and sewing. I am wife to an amazingly loving (and patient!) husband and mother to two incredible children.
My family are at the heart of everything I do and this brings me onto another part of my photography. I volunteer my time and skills at St Michael's and Southmead NICUs to photograph the babies on the unit, completely for free. This is after having one of my babies at 33+6 weeks and finding it very hard having her stay in the NICU and then hospital during her first three weeks. I hope to give back a sense of normalcy and something to look forward to (and back on) for the parents of the babies currently in the units. You can find out more here: N.i.c.u Sessions.
