Can I choose the milestones package if my baby is a bit older?
Absolutely! If you didn't get the chance to do a newborn photoshoot with me you can still join the milestones package at any time before 6 months old. There are other bespoke packages I can put together for babies older then 6 months so don't hesitate to contact me.
How should I prepare for my photoshoot?
I have an information sheet that I will send you before your photoshoot which explains exactly what to do and gives you an indication of how things will go on the day.
What happens if I want to rearrange my photoshoot?
There are a few reasons you may wish to rearrange your photoshoot and, as a mother, I completely understand that this may be the case. If you would like to rearrange your photoshoot I would ask that you give at least 48 hours notice. I will rebook once free of charge and charge a small booking fee for subsequent changes.
Who owns the copyright to the photos?
As the photographer, I own the coyright for all images I take and it is not possible for me to transer the copyright to another party. This is true for all photographers and the copyright is automatically granted as soon as they take a photograph, whether or not this is stated. However, as stated in my contract, I will give you permission to save and print your images at your leisure when a USB is purchased. The only other restrictions apply to editing, distributing and crediting. For example, you cannot put a filter over a photograph I have taken and sell it on or credit it as your own as this is a breach of copyright.
Can I share the photographs online?
I am very happy for you to share any photographs online, however I ask that they be the 'low resolution' and watermarked files which will be labelled as such on your USB, if purchased (you will also get high resolution unwatermarked images but these are only for personal printing purposes). This is important for safeguarding and copyright issues that can arise, as I'm sure you are aware that anything you post online can be downloaded and reuploaded by someone else. I also appreciate being credited and a link to my website but this is not compulsory.
If you would like to use one of the photographs as a profile photo that needs to be square, I am happy to resize and watermark it.

What if my children don't cooperate?
Parents are always worried that their little one won't cooperate during a family photoshoot. Out of every photoshoot I have done, we have always come away with lovely images. Even when parents are worried that their little one hasn't been smiling much during the photoshoot, we've still manage to capture their big toothy (or toothless!) grins. A one hour session is an awfully long time for a baby/child so of course they aren't going to be calmly posing while flashing their beautiful smiles the entire of that time. It is completely natural that babies need to be fed and changed and toddlers and children to want to interact with other people and have some play time. Some of my favourite images (and often clients favourites too) have been of these candid moments.
